Distortion Compensation
X-OCN clips recorded by the unit do not have lens distortion compensation applied. However, if you are using a Sony or licensed partner E-mount lens, the metadata required for lens distortion compensation is retained within the clip. You can then perform lens distortion compensation in X-OCN clips using Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare, or Catalyst Prepare Plugin.
- For details about the recommended workflow and method for applying lens distortion compensation using Catalyst Browse, Catalyst Prepare, or Catalyst Prepare Plugin, visit the following website. Contact the software provider regarding compatibility with other editing software.
