Setting the Zoom Speed of the Bluetooth Remote Control
You can set the zoom speed when zooming using the remote shooting function of a Bluetooth remote control (sold separately). Separate settings are available when in recording standby mode and when recording.
Set using [Technical] – [Bluetooth Zoom] in the full menu.
-
[Zoom Speed Type]:
Sets the zoom speed to [Fixed] or [Variable]. -
[Fixed Speed (Standby)]:
Sets the zoom speed within the range [1(Slow)] to [8(Fast)] for use in recording standby mode when [Zoom Speed Type] is set to [Fixed]. -
[Fixed Speed (Rec)]:
Sets the zoom speed within the range [1(Slow)] to [8(Fast)] for use during recording when [Zoom Speed Type] is set to [Fixed].
Hint
- When [Zoom Speed Type] is set to [Variable], pressing the zoom lever on the remote control will increase the zoom speed (some remote controls do not support variable zoom).
- When [Zoom Speed Type] is set to [Fixed], setting a faster value for [Fixed Speed (Standby)] and a slower value for [Fixed Speed (Rec)] will allow you to change the angle of view quickly when in recording standby mode and slowly when recording video.
Note
- If the zoom speed is very fast, the zoom operation sound may also be recorded.
