Recording Format
Project frame rate
You can switch the project frame rate for recording video.
Switch using [Project] – [Project Frame Rate] in the menu. The unit may reboot automatically after switching, depending on the selected value.
Hint
- Can also be configured using [Project] – [Rec Format] – [Project Frame Rate] in the full menu.
Note
- You cannot switch the project frame rate during recording or playback.
Imager mode
You can set the effective picture size and resolution of the image sensor.
Switch using [Project] – [Imager Mode] in the menu.
- FF 5K 3:2, FF 5K 17:9, FF 5K 16:9, FFc 4.5K 17:9, FFc 4.5K 16:9, FFc 3.8K 16:9: Use for full-frame size.
- S35 3.2K 16:9: Use for Super 35mm size.

- Can also be configured using [Project] – [Rec Format] – [Imager Mode] in the full menu.
Note
- You cannot switch the imager mode during recording or playback.
Internal recording / RAW output
You can set the internal recording and external RAW output combination.
Set using [Project] – [Rec Format] – [Internal Rec / RAW Out] in the full menu.
Note

The following imager modes are required to configure external RAW output.
- FFc 4.5K 17:9
- FFc 4.5K 16:9
Codec
You can switch the codec for recording video.
Switch using [Project] – [Codec] in the menu.
Hint
- Can also be configured using [Project] – [Rec Format] – [Codec] in the full menu.
Note
- You cannot switch the codec during recording/playback.
- Restrictions may apply to the signal from the HDMI output connector, depending on the codec setting.
Video format
You can set the video format for recording video.
Switch using [Project] – [Video Format] in the menu.

- Can also be configured using [Project] – [Rec Format] – [Video Format] in the full menu.

- You cannot switch the video format during recording or playback.
- Restrictions may apply to the signal from the HDMI output connector, depending on the video format setting.
Image quality
You can set the image quality for recording video.
