• When [ATW] is set to [On]:
  Press and hold an assignable button assigned with [White Balance] to display the [ATW] direct menu and select one of [W:A] to [W:H].

• When [ATW] is set to [Off]:
  Press and hold an assignable button assigned with [White Balance] and select one of [W:A] to [W:H] in the direct menu.

  • [W:A]: Memory position A
  • [W:B]: Memory position B
  • [W:C]: Memory position C
  • [W:D]: Memory position D
  • [W:E]: Memory position E
  • [W:F]: Memory position F
  • [W:G]: Memory position G
  • [W:H]: Memory position H
  The memory position A to H selection is performed on the Home screen.

Each memory position can be set in the following ways:

• Changing to a default preset value
• Changing the color temperature
• Running auto white balance

Changing to a default preset value

You can change to a default preset value directly.

Press and hold an assignable button assigned with [White Balance] to display the direct menu and select the following.

Custom shooting mode: → [3200K] → [4300K] → [5600K] → [6300K]

Log shooting mode: → [3200K] → [4300K] → [5500K]

Changing the color temperature

1. Press an assignable button assigned with [White Balance] so that the color temperature value is displayed on a white background.
2. Turn the multi-function dial to adjust the value.

Running auto white balance

The white balance to save in memory positions A to H is configured automatically.

1. Select one of the memory positions A to H.
2. Place white paper (or other object) in a location with the same lighting source and conditions as the subject, then zoom in on the paper to show white on the screen.

3. Adjust the brightness.

   Adjust the iris manually. For details, see the following topic.

4. Select one of [W:A] to [W:H] in the direct menu and select [AWB].

   • If auto white balance is run in memory mode, the result of auto adjustment is saved in the memory position (one of A to H) selected in step 1.
   • If auto white balance is run in ATW mode, the result is inherited and ATW resumes when the auto adjustment ends. This is useful when you want to adjust the white balance very quickly, regardless of the [ATW Speed] setting.
