You can adjust the input audio recording level using the unit.
Adjusting the audio recording level automatically using the unit
For channels that you want to adjust automatically, set [CH1 Level Control] / [CH2 Level Control] / [CH3 Level Control] / [CH4 Level Control] to [Auto] using the [Audio] screen in the menu or using [Audio] – [Audio Input] in the full menu.
Adjusting the audio recording level manually using the unit
Use the following procedure to adjust the audio recording level for CH1/CH2/CH3/CH4 manually.
Set [CH1 Level Control] / [CH2 Level Control] / [CH3 Level Control] / [CH4 Level Control] to [Manual] using the [Audio] screen in the menu or using [Audio] – [Audio Input] in the full menu and adjust the audio recording level using [CH1 Input Level] / [CH2 Input Level] / [CH3 Input Level] / [CH4 Input Level].
You can adjust the levels for CH1 to CH4 as a group. Adjust using an assignable dial assigned with [Audio Input Level], or using [Audio Input Level] on the [Audio] screen in the menu or [Audio] – [Audio Input] in the full menu.
Hint
- The [Audio] screen in the menu is convenient for checking the audio input level.
- To automatically adjust the audio recording level of both CH1 and CH2, set [CH1&2 AGC Mode] to [Stereo]. This is used when recording the audio input on CH1 and CH2 in stereo.
- To automatically adjust the audio recording level of both CH3 and CH4, set [CH3&4 AGC Mode] to [Stereo]. This is used when recording the audio input on CH3 and CH4 in stereo.
Note
- The [Audio Input Level] setting may be disabled, depending on the combination of settings in the [Audio] menu.
- The unit supports combinations of various settings.
