The following tables describe the function and settings of each menu item.

[Shooting] – [ISO/Gain]

Sets settings related to gain.

[Shooting] – [Shutter]

Sets electronic shutter operation.

Sets a preset shutter angle when [Angle] mode is selected.

Note

  • When the project frame rate is 100P or 119.88P, 2F to 64F cannot be selected.
[Angle (Continuous)] 360.0° to 4.2° 180.0° Sets a continuous shutter angle when [Angle] mode is selected.
[Shutter Speed On/Off] [On] / [Off] [Off] Sets whether the exposure time when [Speed] mode is selected follows the [Speed (Step)] / [Speed (Continuous)] setting or is set for full exposure.
[Speed (Step)] 64F to 1/8000
The available settings vary depending on the project frame rate of the selected recording format.

Sets the shutter speed when [Speed] mode is selected.

Note

  • When the project frame rate is 100P or 119.88P, 2F to 64F cannot be selected.
[Speed (Continuous)] 1/23.99 to 1/8000 – Sets the shutter speed (fine adjustment) when [Speed] mode is selected.

[Shooting] – [Auto Exposure]

Sets automatic exposure adjustment settings.

[AGC] [On] / [Off] [Off] Turns auto gain control on/off.
[AGC Limit] For details about settings, see the following topic.
[AGC Limit] Settings and Default Values 		– Sets the maximum gain of the auto gain control.
[AGC Point] F2.8 / F4 / F5.6 F2.8 Sets the F-number of the iris where auto gain control operation starts when [AGC] is set to [On].
[Auto Shutter] [On] / [Off] [Off] Turns auto shutter on/off.
[A.SHT Limit] 1/100 / 1/150 / 1/200 / 1/250 / 1/2000 1/2000 Sets the fastest shutter speed of the auto shutter.
[A.SHT Point] F5.6 / F8 / F11 / F16 F11 Sets the F-number of the iris where auto shutter operation starts when [Auto Shutter] is set to [On].
[Clip High light] [On] / [Off] [Off] Turns the function that ignores brightest areas to provide a flatter response at high luminance on/off.
[Detect Window] 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / [Custom] 1 Sets the light metering range for automatically adjusting the exposure according to the brightness of the subject. (Not available when adjusting exposure manually)
[Detect Window Indication] [On] / [Off] [Off] Turns the light metering range indication on/off.
[Custom Width] 40 to 999 500 Sets the width of the light metering range.
[Custom Height] 70 to 999 500 Sets the height of the light metering range.
[Custom H Position] −479 to +479 ±0 Sets the horizontal position of the light metering range.

[Shooting] – [White Balance]

Sets white balance settings.

  • When the white memory position is changed, [ATW] is set to [Off].
[Color Temp. Select] 2000K to 15000K 3200K

Sets the white balance color temperature saved in the selected white memory position.

Note

  • Since [Color Temp] is clipped at 2000K and 15000K during [R Gain] / [B Gain] adjustment, it may not be possible to display the correct [Color Temp] value for the R/B gain value.
[Tint] −99 to +99 ±0

Sets the white balance [Tint] value saved in the selected white memory position.

Note

  • Since [Tint] is clipped at ±99 during [R Gain] / [B Gain] adjustment, it may not be possible to display the correct [Tint] value for the R/B gain value.
[R Gain] −99.0 to +99.0 ±0.0 Sets the white balance R gain value saved in the selected white memory position.
[B Gain] −99.0 to +99.0 ±0.0 Sets the white balance B gain value saved in the selected white memory position.

 [Cancel] Sets the white balance color temperature saved in the selected white memory position to a preset value.
The [Tint] value is set to ±0.0.

[Shooting] – [White Balance Setting]

Adjusts white balance settings.

[Shooting] – [Focus]

Sets focus settings.

[Zone]: Automatically searches for a focus point within the specified zone.
[Flexible Spot]: Focuses on a specified position in the image.
[Subject Recognition AF] [Human Only AF] / [Human Priority AF] / [Animal/Bird Prio. AF] / [Animal Priority AF] / [Bird Priority AF] / [Off] [Human Priority AF] Sets the mode of the subject recognition AF function.
[Human Only AF]: The camera detects subjects (people) and focuses on their face, eyes, head, or body. Auto focus operation is paused while a person is not detected.
[Human Priority AF]: The camera detects subjects (people) and focuses on their face, eyes, head, or body. When a face/eye/head/body is not detected, the unit automatically determines the optimum position within the image and maintains the focus on that position.
[Animal/Bird Prio. AF]: The camera detects the eyes/head/body of subjects (animals and birds) and prioritizes focusing on the eyes/head/body of animals and birds. When an eye/head/body is not detected, the unit automatically determines the optimum position within the image and maintains the focus on that position.
[Animal Priority AF]: The camera detects the eyes/head/body of subjects (animals) and prioritizes focusing on the eyes/head/body of animals. When an eye/head/body is not detected, the unit automatically determines the optimum position within the image and maintains the focus on that position.
[Bird Priority AF]: The camera detects the eyes/head/body of subjects (birds) and prioritizes focusing on the eyes/head/body of birds. When an eye/head/body is not detected, the unit automatically determines the optimum position within the image and maintains the focus on that position.
[Off]: The subject recognition AF function is disabled.
[Recognition Target Select] [Human Priority AF] / [Human Only AF] / [Animal/Bird Prio. AF] / [Animal Priority AF] / [Bird Priority AF] All options have check mark Selects the operation of the subject recognition AF function when an assignable button assigned with [Subject Recognition AF] is pressed.
Configure setting using the checkbox.
[Touch Function in MF] [Tracking AF] / [Spot Focus] [Tracking AF] Sets the touch operation mode during manual focus.
[Multi Selector Function] [Subject Sel. Cursor] / [Pointer] [Subject Sel. Cursor] Sets the method for specifying the auto focus target in response to multi selector operation.
[Subject Sel. Cursor]: Selects a subject recognition frame using the multi selector.
[Pointer]: Selects a subject on the screen by moving the tracking AF pointer using the multi selector.
[Pointer Color] [Orange] / [White] / [Yellow] / [Cyan] / [Green] / [Magenta] / [Red] / [Blue] [Orange] Sets the color of the pointer used for specifying the focus target.
[Pointer Border] [On] / [Off] [On] Turns the border of the pointer used for specifying the focus target on/off.
[AF Assist] [On] / [Off] [On] When set to [On], this allows you to temporarily override auto focus and set focus manually.
[Lens Action If Cannot AF] [Continue Focus Search] / [Stop Focus Search] [Stop Focus Search] Sets the lens operation when auto focus is started and the subject is significantly out of focus or when auto focus cannot achieve focus.

[Shooting] – [FPS]

Sets whether the shooting frame rate and project frame rate are set to different frame rates.

You can shoot video in slow motion/quick motion by setting the shooting frame rate and project frame rate to different frame rates.

The playback speed of slow motion/quick motion is determined by the shooting frame rate and project frame rate.

  • The range of settings will vary depending on the selected project frame rate, imager mode, codec, and video format.

[Shooting] – [LUT On/Off]

Sets LUT settings.

  • Configurable in log shooting mode.
  • When [ Proxy/Remote Live View] is set to [LUT On], this setting is set to [LUT On] (fixed).

[Shooting] – [Noise Suppression]

Sets noise suppression settings.

The noise suppression function of the unit is turned on by default for both custom shooting and log shooting modes. This function effectively reduces noise, but may cause a loss of detail and texture in the image depending on the settings. If you want to retain more video information, we recommend weakening the noise suppression effect or turning off the function.

Hint

  • The [Setting(Custom)] and [Level(Custom)] settings are reflected in the [Target Display] setting.

  • The noise suppression effect varies depending on the shooting conditions and mode.

Sets flicker correction settings.

Sets settings related to image stabilization.

Sets the appropriate image stabilization function corresponding to the attached lens.
[Auto]: Applies image stabilization automatically based on information obtained from the lens.
[Manual]: Applies image stabilization for the focal length set using [Focal Length] (8 mm to 1000 mm).

Sets the focal length information for the image stabilization function within the camera when [Stabilization Adjustment] is set to [Manual].

Note

  • Image stabilization may not operate correctly if focal length and other information cannot be obtained from the lens. Set [Stabilization Adjustment] to [Manual], then set [Focal Length] to match the attached lens. The configured image stabilization focal length value is displayed below the image stabilization icon.
