Selecting Fixed/Variable Frame Rate (Slow & Quick Motion)
You can shoot video in slow motion/quick motion by setting the shooting frame rate and project frame rate to different frame rates.
When the recording format is set to the following values, you can specify different values for the shooting frame rate and playback frame rate.

You can also assign [FPS] to an assignable button and press the button to switch between shooting with fixed frame rate and variable frame rate.
You can set the frame rate for shooting by pressing and holding the button.
Note
- During recording, playback, and thumbnail display, [Shooting] – [FPS] – [Fixed/Variable Select] cannot be set to [Variable] in the full menu.
- When [Shooting] – [FPS] – [Fixed/Variable Select] is set to [Variable] in the full menu, audio cannot be recorded.
- When [Shooting] – [FPS] – [Fixed/Variable Select] is set to [Variable] in the full menu, auto shutter is disabled.
