Adjusting the gain
You can use this if you do not want to increase the value by AGC (automatic gain control) during recording movies.
A: Manual dial
B: ISO/GAIN button
C: AUTO/MANUAL switch
- Check that the camcorder is in Movie mode.
- Set the AUTO/MANUAL switch to MANUAL.
- Press the ISO/GAIN button.
- The or next to the gain value disappears, and the gain value is highlighted.
A: Gain value
- The or next to the gain value disappears, and the gain value is highlighted.
- Turn the manual dial to adjust the value and press the ////SET button to enter.
To adjust the gain automatically
Press ISO/GAIN button while the gain value is highlighted.
The gain value disappears, or appears next to the gain value. When AE is fixed, appears next to the gain value.
Note
- When you set the AUTO/MANUAL switch to AUTO, the iris, gain, ISO sensitivity, shutter speed, and white balance is adjusted automatically. You cannot adjust them manually.
- The adjusted screen for the ISO sensitivity appears during Photo mode.
Hint
- You can change this setting directly with ////SET button on the shooting standby screen (Direct Menu).
