Recording Camera Framing Operations Using the Supplied Infrared Remote Control

You can record camera framing operations using the supplied infrared remote control.

  1. Access the live operation screen of the Web App.
  2. Set the PTZ assist mode to [Trace] in the drop-down list at the top of the preset position control panel.
  3. Adjust the operation starting position of the camera using the infrared remote control.
  4. Press and hold the PRESET button and press one of the POSITION1 to 3 buttons.

    The camera switches to recording standby state.

  5. Perform the framing operation you want to record.
  6. To end recording, press and hold the PRESET button and press the POSITION button selected in step 4.

Note

  • The maximum duration for recording a single framing operation is 3 minutes. Recording will automatically stop when the recording duration reaches 3 minutes.
  • If the camera is operated from another device while recording a framing operation, the operation from the other device will also be recorded as part of the framing operation.
  • If the image quality is adjusted while recording a framing operation, that change is not recorded.
