Mode Dial Control Set
If you have difficulty operating the dial on your camera, you can change settings using menu operations instead of dial operations.
This function can be used when the camera’s system software (firmware) is Ver.3.00 or later.

(Setup) → [
Accessibility] → [Mode Dial Control Set] → desired setting item.
Menu item details
- Shooting Mode Dial:
- Sets whether to change the shooting mode using the mode dial or the menu. ([Set with Dial]/[Set with Menu])
- By selecting [Set with Menu], you can change the shooting mode using [Shoot Mode] in the menu.
- Drive Mode Dial:
- Sets whether to change the drive mode using the drive mode dial or the menu. ([Set with Dial]/[Set with Menu])
- By selecting [Set with Menu], you can change the drive mode using [Drive Mode] in the menu.
- Focus Mode Dial:
- Sets whether to change the focus mode using the focus mode dial or the menu. ([Set with Dial]/[Set with Menu])
- By selecting [Set with Menu], you can change the focus mode using [
Focus Mode] in the menu.
Note
- When [Set with Menu] is selected, operations using the set dial are disabled.
