Basic icons displayed on the monitor

This section describes the screen display when the shooting mode is (Program Auto).

  • The examples are of the display when the screen is in the all-information display mode.
  • The displayed content and positions are for reference only, and may differ from the actual display. Some icons may not be displayed depending on the camera settings.

During still image shooting

  1. The mode dial is set to (Program Auto).
  2. Number of the memory card slot recording the shooting data
  3. Number of still images that can be recorded on the memory card in the slot indicated by 2
  4. [JPEG/HEIF Switch] is set to [JPEG]. [Image Quality Settings] → [JPEG Quality] is set to [Fine].
  5. [Image Quality Settings] → [JPEG Image Size] is set to [M: 26M].
  6. [SteadyShot] is set to [On].
  7. [Touch Func. in Shooting] is set to [Touch Tracking].
  8. Remaining battery level
  9. [Metering Mode] is set to [Multi].
  10. Displayed when [AF Illuminator] is set to [Auto] and the camera detects that the AF Illuminator is required
  11. [White Balance] is set to [Auto].
  12. [D-Range Optimizer: Auto] is selected.
  13. [Creative Look] is set to [ST].
  14. [Picture Profile] is set to [Off].
  15. [Drive Mode] is set to [Single Shooting].
  16. [Focus Mode] is set to [Automatic AF].
  17. [Focus Area] is set to [Wide].
  18. [Shutter Type] is set to [Mechanical Shutter].
  19. [Subject Recog in AF] is set to [On] and [Recognition Target] is set to [Human].
  20. Shutter speed
  21. Aperture value
  22. Exposure compensation
  23. [ISO] is set to [ISO AUTO].
  24. [ Shooting] is set to [On] or [Auto], and the recordable area is the APS-C-equivalent size.

During movie recording

  1. Audio level
  2. The camera is in the shooting standby mode.
  3. [File Format] is set to [XAVC S HD] and [Rec Frame Rate] is set to [60p].
  4. Slot number of the memory card recording the shooting data and recordable movie time
  5. [ISO] is set to [ISO AUTO]. (The ISO value automatically set by the camera is displayed.)
