[BL-FlowSOM] Dialog

The [BL-FlowSOM] dialog is used to set the learning conditions for analysis using the BL-FlowSOM function.

The [BL-FlowSOM] dialog is displayed by selecting [BL-FlowSOM] of [Clustering] on the [Gate Tools] tab of the ribbon.

  1. [Concatenate Other Samples]

Displays the [Sample Selection] dialog to concatenate multiple samples for learning. The number of samples to be concatenated is displayed on the right side of the button. For details about the operation, see “Analyzing by Concatenating Multiple Samples (when BL-FlowSOM).”

  2. [Fluorochromes] List

Selects the fluorochromes to use as inputs.

  3. [Perform Auto Adjust (Biexponential) as pre-process]

Place a check mark in this checkbox to run auto adjust (biexponential) as a pre-process for those fluorochromes selected as inputs which do not have a plot on the worksheet.

  4. [Use existing SOM]

Place a check mark when creating an MST plot using the existing SOM. If the existing SOM are used, the learned SOM are used to create the MST.

  5. Learning Parameters

    [SOM Grid Size]

Sets the size of one side of the SOM.

    In the case of “10”, for example, one side 10 x 10 = 100.

    [Number of Meta Clusters]

Sets the number of meta clusters.

    • [Auto (Max Number)]: Determines the number of meta clusters automatically with the specified number of meta clusters as the upper limit.
    • [Fixed]: Generates the input number of meta clusters.

    [Number of Iterations]

Specifies the number of times to repeat learning.

  6. [OK]

Saves the settings and closes the dialog.

  7. [Cancel]

Cancels the settings and closes the dialog.
